Are you new to the work truck industry or looking to deepen your expertise? NTEA is your go-to source for continuous education and training opportunities in the commercial vehicle sector.

NTEA hosts a variety of events throughout the year designed to connect professionals across all roles in the industry. These events are invaluable for networking with peers in similar positions and staying informed about the latest industry trends. The highlight of the year is Work Truck Week, held in Indianapolis, Indiana. This event showcases the newest industry products and brings together experts who design, build, and maintain commercial vehicles and equipment. Offering an expansive educational program, Work Tuck Week is the place to expand your knowledge and connect with others in the industry, including through the Generation Next group. For more information on upcoming events, visit the events page.

If attending in-person events isn’t feasible, NTEA also offers a wide array of online resources, including regular webinars, which cover a range of industry topics. These webinars are free for NTEA members and can be accessed anytime through their webinar archive. Whether you’re in sales, fleet management or engineering, these resources are designed to support your professional development.

Prefer something other than webinars? NTEA also provides online training free to NTEA member company employees. One standout session, TE101, was instrumental for me when I first entered the industry.  It offered a broad overview of the industry, helping me ask the right questions and gain a solid foundation. For those just starting out, I highly recommend starting with these training sessions. From there, you can advance to more advanced courses like TE201 or more specialized ones like Truck Frame Fundamentals, which helped me boost my industry knowledge and better serve my customers.
