Hillsboro Industries announces new model 500TX Hybrid truck bed

Hillsboro Industries (Hillsboro, Kansas) introduced a new front tall box hybrid truck bed with a large integrated front toolbox.  Hillsboro works hard to listen to their customers’ needs. The company developed the 500TX based off feedback from their dealer network and customer base. Hillsboro products are exclusively sold through its channel of independent dealers and does not operate any company owned stores.

Steel and Aluminum Construction-Hybrid
The model 500TX features Hillboro's traditional-G1 steel platform with aluminum sides and boxes like its little brother 500 Hybrid.   The bed will come with a 2-year limited warranty and has the Hillsboro B&W compatibility features for its conversion kit standard. The bed features a 1/8” steel treadplate flooring that is pickled and oiled to give tremendous paint adhesion and longevity. With the black polyurethane paint that is primed prior to painting with an Epoxy primer. This will give the customer a great high gloss paint job that you can touch up much easier than other painting methods.  The side skirting is designed with .125 aluminum which is 20% thicker than what you typically see in the industry. The bed also features a stake pocket and tie rail to allow you many points for strap securement. The bed also features Hillsboro's industry leading 25K rear hitch capacity with a 30K GN and flush mount lid.

Large Storage Capacity
The company designed the boxes for storage in mind. Hillboro's large toolbox door openings and stainless-steel latches make hauling your important tools and other items a top priority. The front tall box has up to 21.92 cu.ft. of storage depending on the model. The 84” cab chassis model features 2 front tall boxes with a combined storage capacity of 61 cu.ft capacity. All TX beds will come with 1 adjustable storage shelf standard and have optional shelves to add.

Hillsboro realizes that there are many sizes of trucks on the road today. That is why they developed 9 sizes of the model 500TX beds to fit single wheel, dual wheel, and cab and chassis trucks that are common in today’s world.
