Week 2025 (WTW25) … what a week! As I mentioned during NTEA’s Annual Meeting,
our industry devotes an amazing amount of time to navigating uncertainty,
adapting to new market demands and coming up with creative solutions. I view
WTW as the culmination of our efforts throughout the past year. This is the
time where we can celebrate the people and innovative companies that make the
commercial vehicle community such a driving force.
A
highlight of the week was to have so many industry leaders at the NTEA Annual
Meeting, offering a moment of celebration and recognition. I can’t tell you how
exciting it was for me to lead the Q&A with our keynote speaker — Coach K,
one of the most accomplished basketball coaches in history. His keynote, which
included humor, humility and heartfelt stories, did not disappoint.
WTW25 was
an exceptional week, both in terms of attendance and engagement. Seeing so many
passionate professionals come together to share knowledge, celebrate
achievements and explore new possibilities was deeply rewarding. As we move
forward, we are committed to building on this momentum, continuing to provide
platforms for innovation and connection within our commercial vehicle
community.
As I begin
my term as NTEA Board chair, I am thrilled to take a moment to reflect on the
success of WTW25, which brought together professionals, innovators and thought
leaders from across the work truck industry. This year’s gathering featured an
expansive exhibit hall, insightful educational sessions, engaging special
events and abundant networking opportunities — all designed to foster
connections and showcase the latest in technology, products and services.
As always,
the exhibit hall was undoubtedly a highlight. With exhibitors showcasing
cutting-edge innovations, it served as a vibrant marketplace of ideas and
solutions. Attendees had the chance to explore a diverse range of products that
are shaping the future of our industry. The enthusiasm of exhibitors and
attendees alike illustrated the shared commitment to advancing our industry.
Educational
sessions were another cornerstone of the event. Attendees participated in a
variety of offerings led by industry experts. These sessions covered critical
topics, including best practices, regulatory updates and the integration of new
technologies. The interactive nature of these discussions allowed participants
to engage directly with presenters, fostering a collaborative learning
environment. The feedback we received was overwhelmingly positive, with many
expressing appreciation for the practical insights and actionable strategies
they could implement within their organizations.
Networking
opportunities were abundant throughout the event. From well-attended events
like Opening Reception and Annual Meeting to informal networking on the show
floor, during educational sessions and in the hallways of the convention
center, industry professionals had numerous avenues to connect. These
gatherings allowed attendees to share experiences, forge partnerships and
cultivate relationships that will benefit their businesses for years to come.
In an era where collaboration is more important than ever, these personal
connections are invaluable.
I would
like to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated in WTW25 —
attendees, exhibitors, speakers, sponsors and supporters. Your involvement is
what makes this event what it is. We look forward to seeing you all next year
for WTW26 as we continue to drive progress and transformation in our industry
together.
