It appears that there is a possibility the House of Representatives will vote on ratification of the new United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) replacement for the old North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). The legislatures of each country need to ratify the pact before it can take effect. Thus far, only Mexico has ratified it.
Approval of the three-nation free-trade agreement is vital to the continued and fully integrated trade between the countries.
House Democrats have been holding up ratification over labor and environmental concerns. Mexico has already begun implementing the labor and environmental reforms embodied in the agreement.
Please ask you Representatives and Senators to ratify USMCA.
