The International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) awarded NTEA the industry-respected Accredited Provider status. IACET Accredited Providers are the only organizations approved to offer IACET Continuing Education Units (CEUs). The recognition period is for five years, at which time, NTEA can be reevaluated. Accreditation includes all programs offered or created during this time.
“NTEA’s recognition by IACET is a testament to our ongoing commitment to support professional development in the commercial vehicle industry,” said Steve Carey, NTEA president and CEO. “It’s an honor to become an accredited member and join an elite group of organizations that strive for excellence in education and training programs.”
IACET accreditation is applicable to all NTEA programs, including:
In order to achieve Accredited Provider status, NTEA completed a rigorous application process, including a review by an IACET site visitor, and successfully demonstrated adherence to the ten categories of the ANSI/IACET 1-2013 Standard addressing the design, development, administration, and evaluation of its programs. NTEA has pledged its continued compliance with the Standard, and is now authorized to use the IACET name and Accredited Provider logo on promotional course material. In addition, NTEA is listed on IACET’s website (iacet.org).
