One of the most critical issues within the commercial vehicle industry is attracting, training and retaining workers — especially the skilled trades such as welding — due to increasingly high demand. To help address this challenge, NTEA, in collaboration with Lincoln Electric and National Coalition of Certification Centers (NC3), launched the Work Truck Industry Welder Certification Program earlier this year.
Through this initiative, work truck industry businesses can access a consistent training curriculum and program content they can utilize for the in-house development of welders. Learn more about this offering and how your company can participate in the next Train-the-Trainer course in the fall.
